I'm hoping for a little bit of advice. I'm in my first real relationship with a guy. We've been together for almost a year and a half, and he makes me super happy. Most of my family has been really supportive, but my oldest sister hates my relationship. Her reason is because she doesn't like the fact that he's English. She goes out of her way to tell me how much she dislikes him, and I've tired to talk to her and ignore her, but she just keeps bringing it up. Any advice?
Your older sister sounds like a jealous bitch. Who the hell is racist against the English? I mean, perhaps the innumerable folks they’ve oppressed over the years understandably have a chip on their shoulder, but I doubt your sister fits into that category. I’d just sit her down and go, “Look, if you’re gonna have a relationship with ME, you have to cut the critical bullshit with my dude.”
