I've always been chatty, loud, confident and I joke around a lot and I can't seem to get a date at all and I feel it's down to my personality; do guys tend to be put off by that? Does it intimidate them? I don't FEEL like I'm being womanly enough in my 'approach to life' or whatever and I make an effort with my appearance. What advice would you give in order to attract male attention at all? It upsets me that no guy shows interest and I've been single for ages.
Hmmm. This is a really good question. Being a chatty, louder, jokey gal myself, I have often found that dudes who are attracted to those qualities tend to be quieter and less likely to make the first move. It’s a yin and yang thing, the Circle of Life, if you will. Balance. I think some men may have a lot of bluster and confidence, but that confidence is built on their ability to dominate the room. When their girl is a competitor or an equal rather than an accessory, they get freaked out.
My ultimate advice? DATE NERDS. I know they are sometimes funny-looking on the outside, but they are so fun.
