I had (what seems to be) my first one-night stand recently. It was with an acquaintance that I've known for a year and never been close with. She's just about the most detached, wry person I've ever met and nothing has changed since we slept together and we've barely acknowledged it the few times we've run into each other since. This is foreign to me, but I'm okay with it. I had a great time, but don't need to sleep with her again, necessarily. Should I try to talk to her about it?
Me: Nope, no way! You both had a good time, you’re cool with it, it’s chill. This is a relatively rare occurrence. Savor it. I think you probably are an analytical-type person which is why you are thinking so hard about this. But you did it right the first time! Hooray!
Brother: You know the answer to your own question, however, by still asking us, it tells me that you WANT to talk to her about it.
Brother’s Girlfriend: Just don’t talk about it.
